Whatever One's "Moral Views" Of Abortion... Never Forget This Republican "Slip Of The Tongue"...

Democrats have been buzzing about comments made by state Sen. Nancy Schaefer (R-Turnerville) at a recent eggs-and-issues breakfast in Hart County. We quote from the Hartwell Sun newspaper: "Commenting on illegal immigration, Schaefer said 50 million abortions have been performed in this country, causing a shortage of cheap American labor. 'We could have used those people,' she said."

Schaefer died at her home near Turnerville in Habersham County on 26 March 2010 with her husband of 52 years, Bruce Schaefer. Police concluded the deaths to have been a murder–suicide perpetrated by her husband.[8][9][2] Before her death, she published and promoted the report "The Corrupt Business of Child Protective Services",[10] leading to conspiracy theories surrounding her murder

Conservative political activist and former state Sen. Nancy Schaefer and her husband Bruce have died of an apparent murder-suicide. Few details were available Saturday, the day after the couple's bodies were found. It could be weeks before autopsy results are available, Habersham county Coroner Kasey McEntire told the AJC Saturday.

<And...>

Sen. Don Thomas, a physician and who said he knew the couple well, said he believed Bruce Schaefer, 74, had cancer.

“In those moments, you are not at your complete sanity," said Thomas, of Dalton. "Some people figure the best way is to end it for both of you. They were married for so long. Loved each other so much. When you see somebody that you love so much, every now and then, you think the best way out of it is to go and be with the Lord. ”

the wars combined. I've also seen right-wingers say social security wouldn't be in trouble if not for all the abortions. First they are convinced there are way more abortions than there really are. Second that all those fetuses would have grown up to be able bodied workers. Just where do they think all those jobs would be coming from if the imaginary millions were alive to take them?

came from building homes for new residents - mostly retirees. When the housing bubble burst etc. the building stopped and many working people and their families have left the area. Most of the jobs here are low wage, meeting the needs of the retired people.

how old are you? are you a Duggar?

please. this isn't about abortions, and you know it. it is about sex. the RIGHT kind of sex, according to you.

and it is about controlling women.

and it is about you shoving your religious crap down the rest of our throats.

are you married? were you a virgin when you were married? if not, then you are a lying hypocritical sack of crap. and your "wisdom" that you have gained with age, and willing to force everyone else to live by, is crap.

if you aren't married, then you MUST consent to being a virgin until you DO get married. you may be willing to do that, but you will NOT make that decision for me.

if you ARE married, you must ONLY have sex with your spouse. EVER. no matter what the circumstances. if your spouse dies, you will not ever have sex again until you remarry. if you do, then you are a lying hypocritical sack of crap.

every time you have sex it will be with eager anticipation of having a child. and if you are using birth control, you better get with the program. that IS the new taboo.

do you really think you can tie me to a bed until you make me have a child that i am not ready to have, want, or can support? i think not.

let's get this straight.

you will NEVER make these decisions for me. EVER. i don't give a flying fuck about your opinions, ESPECIALLY if they are based on some hypocritical crap religion.

any questions?

it is about time our democratic leaders faced this bullshit headon.

A molecule of water.
A drop of water.
A snowflake.
A bucket of water.
A block of ice.
Lake Tahoe.
The Pacific Ocean.
The fog on a SF summer's evening.
Arctic glaciers.

Are they not all water?

Humans take many forms:
Zygotes.
Embryos.
Fetuses.
Infants.
Toddlers.
Children.
Adolescents.
Adults.
Older adults.
Your 105-year-old grandmother.

All are human, and all deserve to be protected from the moment of conception to the moment of natural death...

Any questions?

About one-third of zygotes fail to implant in the woman's uterus even under ideal conditions. That's not very protective at all!
Which leads to my next question:

Which church/synagougue/mosque will you be picketing this weekend, since by your standards their congregations are worshipping the greatest mass murderer in history?
