Is it time to elevate the DEFCON in DU?

If pages don't time out then they take forever to load.

It took several attempts just to get to this "post new thread" page.

I thought I noticed an improvement.

A lot us of come to DU for news on any breaking event. It doesn't help
much to have to wait and wait for pages to load up or fail to load at all.
