A witness who remembers #1 walking close to the wall at the scene of the first explosion where the backpack was left.

Video of them slowly leaving the scene with no backpacks.

Then there's that firefight and throwing a pressure cooker bomb at the cops. Fortunately for the cops, it lid came off, making it blow up a little less harmfully.

So it's a bit more than just pictures of two guys with packs.

and National Guard and FBI and ATF agents had nothing else to do, so they just picked these two guys at random. There's no evidence, not a bit, except maybe for the eyewitness identification of the guy who lost both of his legs and who saw one of the brothers set down his backpack just before it blew up. And the fact that the brothers ambushed and shot that cop, which they wouldn't have done unless they had a reason. And then they carjacked a guy's Mercedes, took his ATM card and demanded his PIN number so they could get money from his bank account, and told the guy that they were the bombers!

So, yeah, I think there's just a bit of evidence.

Jeff Bauman, the man who became the bloodied face of the victims after the Boston bomb attacks, provided the key identification of the dead suspect.



Mr Bauman was waiting to see his girlfriend finish the race when a man in a white cap and sweatshirt dropped a backpack at his feet. The 27-year-old lost both his legs in the explosion.

Despite being heavily drugged, Mr Bauman got word to the authorities that he had seen one of the bombers.

He told FBI investigators that he looked in the eyes of Tamerlan Tsarnaev as he planted the bomb. He went on to identify him in a photograph.

Mr Bauman’s brother, Chris, said: “He woke up under so much drugs, asked for a paper and pen and wrote, 'bag, saw the guy, looked right at me’.”

Two people moving around in a crowd after an explosion proves nothing except that they were there. We still don't know what was in the backpacks.
