Why Did Everyone, All of a Sudden, This Week Forget Posts/Blogs By Private Citizens are Not FACTS

4chan and reddit need have no shame. They are what they are. Sites where people posts things about current topics. Some of it legitimate, some (most) of it crap.

It should be no surprise to anyone that so many private citizens with no criminal justice or investigative expertise were making claims that could not be substantiated. It happens every day, all day on the internet. The unfortunate thing is that this week it really had the possibility to cause immediate harm. Harm to those poor guys on the cover of the NY Post who were innocent. They're lucky some vigilante didn't take them out before they were cleared.

The real shame is to organizations like the NY Post. It presents itself as a serious journalistic endeavor. However, this week it has proven, once again, it is anything but. While other "serious" news organizations didn't run the picture the Post ran they participated in the hanging of those two innocent men. I saw descriptions in many main-stream papers and on network news sites that described the two guys in the picture the Post printed as the two men the FBI would be releasing pictures of later. Now know they were all wrong.

We know the Post is not to be believed.
(Otherwise Dick Gephardt would have been VP in 2004 as their famous headline stated.)

However, 4Chan and Reddit took a major hit, and it will now mean they are also not looked in the future for the truth.

Because anyplace is only as good or as bad as the info it prints

Look at the NY Times- they got rid of Frank Rich, they had Judith Miller, and then there was that ultimate fraud Jayson Blair

That's why I basically have turned it all off.

I watched the network news this week because of this particular story. Stayed with Channel 2 or 4 for most of it. The entire story was like 9-11, the particular location with my sister in one of the towns locked down, the possiblity if the perp had gone somewhere else like NYC,the unknown of what is next, like on 9-11 waiting for the next one.

So much was gotten wrong. And then the coincidence of all coincidences late Thursday night of that 7-11 photo. They were there. Major robbery. It had nothing to do with them.
What were they getting a Big Gulp?

Odd week, two major coincidences (the other being the fire right near Waco being just a fire and explosion and not a terror incident).

All media took a big hit.

Shame is, it does effect next time and the time after of a really important story and continues the good cop/bad cop storyline of any issue. There is nothing pure left.

Where have you gone Dan Rather, a nation turns its lonely eyes to you (to paraphrase Paul Simon). When they took Dan down, they did a great job of insuring the media was dead.

And it must be said, the conspiracy theorists were able to find so much on all sides to further more and future conspiracy theories.

And actually, four coincidences. The Gun bill that exact day too, and now the conspiracy theorists and the haters might have an effect on the totally unrelated immigration issue.
After all, this perp who was a hater was a citizen. And was never here illegally from day one.

Now it might be taken out on 11 million people who have nothing to do with anything.
I hope it doesn't. We are watching. Just hope what we see is true.

BTW-I don't equate people here with bloggers who are paid. Wish I got paid for giving my angle.
But most of those people are getting paid for doing what we do.
Once they get paid, little or big, for their angle, they are biased.

And juxtapose it with Major Garrett. He was paid big money to be one of the liars on Fox.
Now he is paid big money(even bigger money) to be one of the liars on CBS.
