(82,069 posts)Glad you're with us! What was that recent slogan? "Yes We Can"? This one should morph into "Yes We MUST!" Or "Yes We WILL!" I was originally gonna say "Yes We Should!" but THAT one goes without saying. DAMN STRAIGHT we should. We've all known that one for years. bus/cheney probably will never be brought fully to justice. Or even partially to justice. Sooooooooo... given that, and unfortunately, I think it's a pretty solid "given", I would hope the two of them would be hounded unmercifully and relentlessly for the rest of their accursed days. I hope they never have a minute's peace without somebody haranguing them or hassling them or getting in their faces or staging demonstrations like this, or facing photos or coverage of this, always having it buzzing around them or underneath them like some annoying gnats that will NOT go away and are impervious to any bug spray.
I want them haunted, nagged, bothered incessantly, facing it everywhere they go, every direction they turn. I want them NEVER to find relief this "nuisance" as they probably view it. I want it shoved in their faces and pelting down on them like a constant hailstorm - til they draw their last breath. It should be unavoidable, confronting them everywhere, every minute of every day of every year. There should be NO cover, NO escape, NO relief.
Or let's put it this way - they should be able to get past it and move on in EXACTLY the same way that all those Iraq War veterans have to get past it and move on while missing a leg or two, an arm or two, their vision, their hearing, maybe their ability to speak, maybe their ability to move at all. The way THEY get to move on. That's what should befall bush/cheney. That they be forced to live with constant non-stop torment for the rest of their lives.

Yes... I want to know for sure, if some brave soul made the "enlightened" statement? Or is it all just a made up picture?

(17 posts)My sentiment entirely---but it won't happen.
So, boycott the "Lie-berry".
I know the evangelicals will make religious pilgrimages to it observing the 8 stations of his presidency on the way.

(17 posts)Why isn't there more mention of the Iraq War Memorial honoring the over 4,500 dead American Soldiers and their families?
It was funded by Fox News and donations by Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and Condoleeza Rice. I understand the pictures placed on the granite walls with emotional music playing in the background is very inspiring.
The empty boots, the creased helmets, the fragments of roadside bombs bring tears to one's eyes--as well as the prostheses given to the amputees.
Truly dramatic and emotional.
