So I started reading "Game Change"

If the 2008 Iowa Democratic Primary was today, who would you hope would win?

1. I was a supporter of Hillary Clinton back then.

I got over her losing the nomination.

I don't see any point in opening old wounds.

If HRC wants to run again, I'll back her again.

5. +1. I can't say how or what she would've done. Speculation.

It's possible she would've been better at battling the Republicans. But then would we have health care reform? Thousands of acres set aside to be preserved? I don't know.

I'm interested to see if she'll run again. I'll probably back her.

6. She was on that health care panel that died before it got started during Bill's first administration

so I think she would have prioritized healthcare.

She does know how to get under the GOP's skin--of course, she's got an epidermis of iron, after all the shit they've thrown at her down the years....

7. I think so, too. That's one reason I would vote for her.

Ironic...to vote for a woman because she'll be tougher than the guys. I remember a time that the thought of that would've been considered funny.

Of course, it's all speculation.

If I didn't "know" the players before reading the book, not sure who I would have wanted to succeed. It's been a while since I read it, but I really enjoyed it. Hope you like it, too.

4. Read the book

I read that book and what I took away from it was that McCain used Sarah Palin to raise money and not much else. I felt halfway sorry for her, she was so out of her league. As far as Hillary goes, it was sad to read how the nomination slipped through her fingers. I did not vote for her in 2008, but since Obama has had his run, I will give all my support to Hillary in the next election.

I'd still be voting Richardson or Biden.

Clinton and Obama are still my bottom two picks.
Not that I have anything against Obama right now.
At the moment, I am not really complaining. The only few things that I really worry about is that he needs to push more on his judicial appointments, and if a Supreme Court Judge needs replacing. Which hasn't happened yet. So he needs to deal with his judicial appoinments and push on that hard.
