A new Quinnipiac poll finds Hillary Clinton has a huge lead over other potential 2016 candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination with 65%, followed by Joe Biden at 13% and Andrew Cuomo at 4%.
Said pollster Peter Brown: "Hillary Clinton has a rock-solid hold on the hearts of Democratic voters at this point. If she decides not to run, Vice President Joseph Biden does almost as well as she does against the rest of the field. There is a long way to go until 2016, but none of the other younger potential candidates for the Democratic nomination currently has anything approaching widespread support from party voters."

(11,464 posts)and don't forget-
Hillary didn't lose in 2008. She would have defeated John McCain, and this time Hillary has 100% of Barack Obama's CORE fans like myself and everyone else.
The only people who don't like him never wanted him or Hillary in 2008.
and their votes are NOT needed in 2016
to continue the agenda of Barack Obama and to make America 80-20 and render the 20% totally obsolete from the discussion.

Mainstream, is not an evil word. Mainstream just means WINNER.

(14,255 posts)At the link you gave us, there was a poll from 2006 and Obama wasn't even on it - and Hilary had a comfortable lead.
I am hoping for more of a Democrat to vote for, next time. I was a Hilary supporter, but was unaware of her Corporate persona. I guess, though, she won't really even sound progressive, so no disappointment or surprise.

(11,464 posts)all those stale anti-LBJ, anti-Obama, anti-Hillary soundbytes are quaint and getting quainter. Like a Norman Rockwell painting.
So 1950s.
History has passed it by.

(2,670 posts)done. Polls this far out are pointless especially since no one's announced they're running. How bout we worry about 2014 and keeping the senate and finding a way to grab more house seats. Otherwise it won't matter what will happen in 2016.

(2,670 posts)If she does become the nominee I will vote for her. I just don't think these polls are accurate and cause infighting for all anyone knows Hillary herself is done with it and won't run at all. It just seems the inevitability thing goes to far.
