You laugh now, but I can see this coming. No more "helicopter parents"; we'd have "drone parents" instead.

You define where you kid can be, geographically speaking, and if he wanders outside of that zone, you get an alert.

Or convicted pedophiles, as a condition of early release or whatever, get these things following them around all day.
