These horrible Facebook Phone commercials

where someone ignores everyone around them, at family dinners and on dates in "boring" places like art museums, to stay glued to the vacuous content of social media.
The larger issue of the narcissistic nature of modern technological intercourse is brought to bear.

Besides, what a waste of time and money to go on a guided tour of a museum and not even pay attention.

looking at your friends screwing around on instagram is so much more important than great works of art, or the people you are with.

The world is just a big rock of YOU, orbiting a blazing mass of hydrogen which came into existence just so that YOU might be.

Fucking nauseating.

I don't think those who are obsessive about Facebook and social media see how self absorbed they are. But these commercials show people ignoring all those around them to be online. Do people really want to be that obnoxious?

Leave him for some superficial douche she met on facebook.

He'll be better off, though. But it sure won't feel that way at first. And it's getting harder and harder these days to find a romantic partner who is actually interested in the museum.

Never produce content. That's too risky and expensive. Just insinuate yourself between people by selling the means to transmit the content they produce, and format the means of communication so that you get the most profit out of the least quantity of information.
