1. Well, I can't spot him. It's still an historic picture.

2. He's about 75 degrees down and to the right of the flag at top left.

He just sat down after delivering the address.

The speech was so short that the photographer missed his chance to get an image of the President delivering it. He had thought he would have more time to set up the camera, focus, and take the pic.
