Jeff Flake says he could support Manchin-Toomey background checks, if they never applied to anyone

http://livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/entry/in-turnaround-flake-says-hes-open-to-expanding

Flake said he'd consider voting for the bill if the requirement is altered to ensure that a gun owner may sell a firearm to a friend without an FBI check after exchanging text-messages or emails or posting on Facebook.

So, if you email each other and say "hey friend, can you sell me that AK47 for $900" no background check for any Internet sale.

Another episode of "I'm willing to negotiate if you surrender first."

There are bigger hurdles to jump through when registering to vote than there are when buying a gun - and no one dies when someone uses a voting maching unlike when they use a gun.
