The Mom is not here to see her daughter found alive :'(

I don't know what can be more hearthbreaking than that. I just watched CNN when the former local reporter was describing Amandas mom. Her tears never dried. :'(

If her soul is alive somewhere I hope she can see that her daughter has been found. I hope she can find peace.

Nothing is more strong than a moms love for her child.

She obviously was allowed to watch tv, since she said to the operator that she was on the news.

Im so happy all three women and the lil girl SURVIVED this ordeal. But i cant help to think of Amanda. the first person she most likely wanted to see was her mom. But her mom wasnt there, sinnce she died of a broken heart. :'(

I am against the death penalty in principle, but i dont mind these 3 assholes being put right to death. I just have no words to explain how i feel right now. I hope all 3 young women will recover and live a normal life. But i doubt it. Its like living in a cage.. what about the lil girl?? no contact with society , never getting out of the house i asssume?? these 3 monsters better never see the daylight again if found guilty.

"Asking a question is picking on?"

Not if the question is sincere... if it's not, then it's mere petulance no one person would admit to engaging in-- especially if they are indeed, engaging in petulance.

This reporter honors the mother's love, her undying love, for her child. How wonderful to see love and hope in action! Thank you for posting this bit of news. Heartbreaking, but a true testament to Amanda's mama's faith. She knew her child lived! She knew!!

I can't imagine a worse nightmare than having your child snatched from you and not knowing their fate. As tragic as death is, it at least brings some closure. Missing children are just an open wound that torments you every minute of your life. That poor mother.

I have a teenage daughter, so watching all this unfold just breaks my heart. And I'm totally with you on the death penalty thing, too, darkangel. Attack if you wish, it really doesn't bother me. What these men did to not only those girls, but their families, is beyond tragic. What sick, disgusting excuses for humans.
