Here are the top 10 vote-getters. As you all know, the topic was "time." I want to point out that I had a tie for the final spot between "Hosta la vista" and "Split level." I broke the tie by drawing names, and "Hosta" won out. I will post "Split Level" below, though, because it was a great shot that did well in the preliminary poll. I wish we had room for 11 finalists.

I will keep this poll open until Friday evening and announce the winners on Saturday. In a separate post, I'll identify the photographers of all 30 entries. Please help me keep this kicked.

Built in the 13th century, it originally belonged to Clan MacDonald, then Clan Grant. Destroyed in the late 17th century, it's now under the care of Historic Scotland

Great images this month!

I've been very busy this month and was unable to participate, but after seeing these final entries I don't think I could have made an impression anyway. Hopefully I'll be back next month as the nice weather takes me & my Olympus outdoors.

one of the few reasons my mom would sit in front of the computer was when i told her we should vote on the photos at the du photo contests. (she wasn't a computer person and had no interest to learn to use one.) but we would look at all the pictures and she would comment and be wowed, and we would vote together--and the majority of time we'd agree.

one of life's simple pleasures--voting in the du photo contests. (and enjoying all the pictures)
