I"m depressed because on the ground, at the grassroots, we are fighting GOP at the state level while they chip away at what has been settled law/policies - women's rights union rights worker rights...

The Senate is a mess..why the hell doesn't some tough talking LBJ-like type corner Graham in a dark corner and wave the Aug 6, 2001 President's daily briefing memo titled "BIN LADEN DETERMINED TO ATTACK...." and tell him "you want a fight, let's fight"

Not sure what you expect. In 2008 primary Obama toured SC with a 'faith and family tour' featuring Donne 'we are at war with gays' McClurkin and a bunch of other hate preachers and singers. That's how he won Democrats there, by employing people so bigoted and hate filled and ignorant that the rest of the country is still disgusted by it. OFA people calmly told me that Obama 'had to use prove his religious standing using hate preachers in SC'.
