This really pisses me off.
Anyone whos been to Abercrombie & Fitch in the last few years has probably noticed that they dont carry XL or XXL sizes of womens clothing because they dont want overweight women wearing their brand.
According to this popular teen clothing retailer, fat chicks will just never be a part of the in crowd.
A&F CEO Mike Jeffries explained it this way:
In every school there are the cool and popular kids, and then there are the not-so-cool kids, he told the site. Candidly, we go after the cool kids. We go after the attractive all-American kid with a great attitude and a lot of friends. A lot of people dont belong [in our clothes], and they cant belong. Are we exclusionary? Absolutely.
In case you're wondering, this policy only applies to women. The article points out that A&F carries XL and XXL for men "to appeal to large athletes."This really pisses me off.

(44,397 posts)1. isn't the ceo the guy with the jacked up face , too much plastic surgery?
He seems to be a bit obsessed with looking "young and cool".

He'd better try to remain young and thin or the "cool kids" just might reject his bullying ass.

Think about it. He's a full grown man who still worries what a bunch of "cool" high schoolers think. It's just sad really.
