Too much positive economic news, Boehner cries, "Benghazi"

Boehner Calls On White House To Release Email Related To Benghazi

House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) on Thursday joined the Republican effort to apply pressure on the Obama administration over last year's deadly attack in Benghazi, Libya, calling on the White House to release an email from a State Department official.

After saying he hoped people tuned in to Wednesday's hearing on Benghazi, Boehner highlighted the email, in which the unnamed official attributed the attack to "Islamic terrorists."

"We learned that on September 12th, the day after the attacks and four days before Susan Rice's tv appearances, a senior State Department official e-mailed her superiors to relay that she had told the Libyan ambassador that the attack was conducted by Islamic terrorists," Boehner said at a morning press briefing. "The State Department would not allow our committees to keep copies of this email when it was reviewed. And I would call on the President to order the State Department to release this email so that the American people can see it."

This has everything to do with Hillary running for President in 2016. It is an attempt to scald her politically.

The GOP loves to play games. It's all smoke and mirrors to hide the fact that they have done absolutely nothing to create jobs and move this country forward!

Is this the 4th or 5th time they have held these hearings? At what cost to the taxpayer! Fiscal conservatives my A**!

They will go to no end to try and hide the headway that this President has made.

Thanks ProSense!

They're pseudo-conservatives when you get right down to it. Whether it's this or Bush ll and Reagan increasing the deficit while in office, the way they use taxpayer money is obviously at odds with the dictionary definition of the word "conserve", which is to protect something from loss or harm.
