Can the govt ban or block the posting

of a file with the CAD files to make a now legal item?

Sticky legal implications and seems to have happened today.

Referring to Defcad's Liberator files

"DEFCAD files are being removed from public access at the request of the US Department of Defense Trade Controls.
Until further notice, the United States government claims control of the information."
is posted on their site

I am not planning on making a gun and not sure I believe it actually happened
