The purge, worst movie idea ever

One night a year, all crime is allowed, I guess it has what horror fans want though, some mid/late 20 something actress playing the part of a school girl in the usa, but dressed in a british school girl's uniform, the bad guys are after her and the man she saved, remember they can do to her what they like, what sort of sicko comes up with these plots??

1. I read about the same idea in a Russian sci-fi story.

That might be where the idea came from.

It's in the tradition of speculative/utopian/dystopian fiction.

However, the movie version just sounds like gratuitous exploitation.

My daughters liked the trailer, unfortunately. Hopefully the reviews will be bad enough they won't want to see it.

Normally I don't see horror movies, but this one is a good one to watch.
