Monday's child is fair of face,

3-year-old Jadarrius Speights accidentally shot and killed himself inside the bedroom of an apartment he shared with his mother, father, and uncle, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Detectives say 29-year-old Jeffrey Walker shared a bedroom with his nephew Jadarrius and allegedly left a 9mm handgun in a backpack. Walker left the room, and detectives believe Jadarrius got the gun out of the backpack and shot himself.

Tuesday's child is full of grace,

Around 1:30 yesterday afternoon Kentucky State Police were called to a shooting on Lawson Bottom Rd. in Burkesville.

Police say, 2-year-old Caroline Sparks was shot and it was her five-year-old brother, Christian, who pulled the trigger.

Wednesday's child is full of woe,

A young boy died Wednesday night after a self-inflicted shooting in Corsicana, officials said.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner identified the child as 2-year-old Kinsler Allen Davis.

Thursday's child has far to go,

A 3-year-old toddler was shot in Washington, police said.

The incident occurred at approximately 6:11 p.m. when the girl was shot in the 2400 block of Elvans Road, S.E.

Friday's child is loving and giving,

A 12-year-old was rushed to the hospital after being shot in the face by an 11-year-old in New Jersey Friday morning.

The shooting happened at about 8 a.m. at an apartment on Hunter Street in the Crestbury Apartments.

Saturday's child works hard for a living,

A 5-year-old boy who was shot in the head at a Denton home Saturday morning died Monday afternoon in a Dallas hospital, police said.

Jason and another boy, 8, were alone in a bedroom when the older boy found a .22-caliber rifle, pointed it and fired, police said.

But the child who is born on the Sabbath Day is bonny and blithe and good and gay.

A 13-month-old child remains hospitalized, and her father is behind bars after police said the girl was shot in the chest.

The incident happened Sunday shortly after 11 p.m. at the East Gate Apartment Complex. Tullahoma police responded to unit H8 to find the baby shot in the chest.
