What is worse than these new "scandals" with the IRS and the AP wiretapping??

The Teapot Dome Scandal? The Nazis?

Maybe they should just kick Obama out of office without the charade of an impeachment hearing?

1. We keep hearing "Worse than Watergate"

from people who, for decades now, have told us Watergate was no big deal.

I'd estimate that if I asked 100 people, 2 would know how much deeper it went.

Watergate was MUCH worse than "Watergate".

2. By the looks of things, any Democratic president we will have from Clinton on

will be staring at the gop trying to impeach them. What is it? Payback for (partially) holding Nixon to account for his crimes? I say partially because he resigned before he could be impeached and Ford pardoned him for all crimes.

4. Nixon also ordered a breakin into psychiatrist's office to obtain medical records

of a private citizen with the intent of using that info to discredit him.

I also believe Nixon offered to pay off the FBI $1 million to make the investigation "go away". As to where Nixon got he $1 million is beyond me.

As to whether Nixon ordered the break in at Watergate or his campaign ordered it is also an issue.

If Watergate had been about a political campaign breaking into Dem headquarters with intention of spying on the opposition with Nixon trying to gloss over the ordeal, it would have been a non-story. Politics is dirty and both sides know this.

But, in this case, it was much much more.
