CBO: The Deficit Is Going To Be Much Smaller This Year Than We Expected


If the current laws that govern federal taxes and spending do not change, the budget deficit will shrink this year to $642 billion, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimates, the smallest shortfall since 2008," they wrote.

This is way down from an estimate of $845 billion in February.

no inflation, lower deficit. All good if you have a job that pays well.
I am lucky to have been able to ride out this recession. I lost all the equity I had in a home but others have lost much more. I am afraid they will be forgotten with favorable economic news.
