Why the emails were not released to begin with?

Because many of them were from the CIA and the White House did not want to gamble with releasing possible classified information. Republicans knew this was the case and never thought the President would ever release any of the emails? They must be totally confused and flabbergasted today??

Republicans also knew that the Americans killed were working a CIA operation. The State Dept credentials were just a cover.

As we speak, Republicans are combing through these emails to see if there is anything they can twist and distort to make the White House look bad or culpable...

This is just speculation on my part but this is the scenario as I see it.

as soon as the CIA safe house was mentioned early on by someone in the House of Representatives on live television. Can't remember who it was now. It was an OMG WTF moment. And the fact that the attackers knew the LOCATION of the safe house was an OMG WTF moment. I haven't heard this mentioned since, But Andrea Mitchell was apoplectic about it then. And then she clammed up.

That's when I knew there was a disastrous leak at Langley. And it is the same person who leaked to AP about the CIA operative in AQAP. He also leaked to Romney when Benghazi was carried out. How do you think Romney was on TV immediately afterwards with his speech already prepared? And he looked like the cat who at the canary, too.

The day after the attack when Obama said it was an "act of terror", why didn't the media and Republicans run with that blowing it up out of proportion right before the election? Instead of wanting Obama and admin to blow up the event of an act of terror.

It's like the Republicans are saying to Obama that he didn't make enough noise the way the Repubs wanted him to. Usually, the Repubs are jumping all over any BS they can get their hands on.
