So, When Does The MSM Turn On The "Scandal" Stories?

They seem to be treading water: no new information to report to support the idea of there being scandals, but enough contrary info now out there to prove it was all a tarted-up RW hoax, though they seem slow on the uptake to report the push back.

I have a feeling this thing will simply wimp out over the next week and disappear in all but the most-rabid RW universe, mainly because when all is said and done, the non-scandals are an embarrassment to all of the mainstream news sources who got the story wrong.

Correcting the record only serves to illuminate their incompetence and complicity. It will be much easier for them to let it slink away back under the Louis Gohmert rocks than to admit they were had by RW operatives.

the humble pie they served up to the president. The feeding frenzy, even here, was a sight to behold. You'll notice that the bold declarations and wild speculation of the last few days isn't as intense as it was. That's the trouble with fake "scandals", they dissipate and people move on to next shiny new object.

It doesn't matter if these get walked back. The framing has set the narrative, and the people who aren't paying much attention (or who have always wanted Obama to fail) will always believe the worst bits.

Even if the proof shows otherwise, they'll keep pushing the Republican's right wing lies.
