This morning on MJ when everyone seemed to agree that Benghazi was purely partisan, Woodward disagreed. He held up a copy of the infamous talking points claiming that the editing was equal to Nixon editing the transcripts. After writing several fawning 'Bush at War' books which ignored that Bush lied us into war, can he credibly make this argument?

(111,092 posts)We are confused because of his role in Watergate but he was more worried about Bob Woodward at that time than he was worried about the Republican Party. I seem to recall that he actually voted for Nixon?

(2,593 posts)the right. I think it's because he's burned all his bridges to reasonable people. As far as I'm concerned, he's just a cranky old man who cannot be taken seriously. A shame that he's given any platform to spew his goofy thoughts.

(2,807 posts)We all liked him for a long time because he helped bring down Nixon. But he didn't do it for ideological, or even moral reasons. He did it because he's a pimp. And Watergate was/is the biggest ho around.

All The President's Men was 40 years ago. Woodward has been milking that goat for a long time.
