If it's just sitting there, chances are that it's preparing to molt. You could be rewarded with a perfect replica of the insect, light brown with a slit along the back where it emerged from its old skin. This phenomenon has fascinated me since I was a kid.

looking for them. They are more excited about the big red eyed bugs than anything else.
