would purposely have a double mastectomy in order to advertise for a company? Don't you think she could have just used her professional abilities and acted in a commercial? How much did she get paid to go through this surgery?

Profits? How much does cancer treatment - chemo, x-rays, wildly expensive drugs - cost? If anything, the test and the double mastectomy may be less expensive, which tells cynical old me that Big Pharma may not be happy about this.
