He's so far past his sell-by date it's not even funny.

His silly books about Bush did him in, in the end.

He thought he could wipe his ass on paper, make copies, bind it, put a cover on it, and people would buy it.

Those old intel connections only go so far. After a while, one needs to have qualities like talent and a work ethic. He's got damn little of one and lacks the other entirely it would seem...
