1. I think this is the funniest, most desperate flop of a flap the GOP have pulled.

They don't understand the difference between using an umbrella as a tool, and using it as a "uniform item." It's only the latter if they hold it over their OWN head and podium!!!

I'd love it if Chuck Hagel rewrote the Uniform Regs, too to authorize umbrellas for all--give everyone, except serving Marines who spend quite a lot of time and money on keeping their uniforms looking sharp, something to really cry about!

I'd just LOVE to see the GOP in a position of telling USMC personnel who have served multiple tours in Iraq and the Stan that they're "sissies" because they can now include a Totes in their seabag!
