CNN Confirms Gallup's Poll: The Obama Bounce Continues
by joelgp

Well, CNN confirms the bounce Gallup found in yesterday's tracking. Check out this breaking poll from CNN:

1. 53% of Americans say they approve of the job the president is doing, with 45% saying they disapprove. The president's approval rating was at 51% in CNN's last poll, which was conducted in early April.

2. 70% say at the targeting by the Internal Revenue Service of tea party and other conservative groups that were applying for tax exempt status was unacceptable.

3. But 60/35 say that O’s statements about the IRS scandal are completely or mostly true

4. 55% say that IRS acted on its own, with 37% saying that White House ordered the IRS to target tea party and other conservative groups.

5. 53% say they are dissatisfied with Benghazi response but is virtually unchanged from November.

6. Only 44% say statements made by the Obama administration soon after the attack were an attempt to intentionally mislead the public..

7. More Republicans than Democrats or Independents say these three issues are very important to the nation

8. 56% say they have a great deal or some confidence in the system of government.

the GOPers are not gonna to believe it. Such as 2012 where they refused to believe the polls and Rmoney truly felt he was going to win. Talk about the bubble. GOPers are the worst kind of CRAZY as hell.

They just simply had bad luck and are having a hard time. It's those racial "minororities" that are the one stealing from honest taxpayers!

Republicans (ick!) are totally not cool. Conservatives are responsible for most of the human misery on the planet. Spread the mantra. More and more people are getting it every day. Make being a conservative so unappealing that it is considered near the equivalent of being a greasy pedophile rapist in a wife beater.

"You can't be serious. You're a republican?"

Eeeeeeeeeewwwww!

Republicans? Conservatives? That is so, like yesterday

This is not being mean, it's actually doing everyone a big favor.

The best way the Democratic Party can wipe out the GOP, right now, is by us illustrating how icky conservatism really is, and our Democratic government giving a helping hand to our people and promoting equality and economic justice in the tradition of FDR. Republican stupidity will do the rest for us.

No quarter. Let's finish them off for good.

in popularity. That just institutionalizes our present oligarch run country.

IMO, a "bounce" should go to the few politicians who act to put real people before corporations.
It seems that most of that rare subset of politicians, belong to the progressive caucus.

We have to change this fascist paradigm not reinforce it by approving of our masters.

Obama is a corporatist fascist who doesn't care about average Americans (despite UE lowering for 37 consecutive months and him pushing for higher top tax rates while extending tax cuts for low-income people). How dare he get a bounce!

They have shows daily and matinees on the weekend.
You can learn all about gridlock and other excuses that corporate politicians use.

They have discontinued the movie that is titled RESPECT YOURSELF.

The GOP is talking to itself again. Last time the GOP started believing it's own lies, it was wailing and gnashing its teeth at the shock of Romney's loss. And by a huge margin.

Really? Fifty-six percent? How can anyone but a mindless zombie still believe our system is working, especially with a Congressional approval rating of something like twelve percent?

Still, that means forty-four percent are potentially ripe for peaceful revolution (not to mention that zombies will quickly change direction when they smell brainz). Which is news I never thought I'd hear from CNN . . . .

if they actually try impeachment, it will bite them in the ass. Just like it did when they did it to Clinton.
