A Rethug tool "reporter" was reciting all the talking points and SHUSTER shot them down, but Mistah KURTZ kept shushing him and even left his STOP-(in the name of Love) hand in the frame while the Rethug was talking so SHUSTER could be seen to be SHUSHED.
SHUSTER told her that the IRS story would have been a badge for reporters when nobody was covering it but it was nothing now that EVERYBODY is on it, plus that 85% of the applications for tax exemptions were from wingnuts, so it is not targeting that more wingnuts might be scrutinized, and what about KKKarl and the KOCHes, whereupon Mistah KURTZ shut him down with, "I don't want to talk ROVE ..."
I will say that in years past I was wary of SHUSTER when he was on with Keith because of the KKKarl "indictment" that never happened. Given SHUSTER's history of working at Faux, where he learned how to tell niche consumers what they want to hear, I was wary that he was doing the same thing with his now Left audience. In the indictment-that-didn't-happen he nightly, for a couple of weeks told us that his "sources" (who supposedly had intimate knowledge of what was going on with the grand jury) had assured him the indictment was coming. When it didn't happen he burned his sources, who turned out to be lawyers with vast experience with cases before grand juries IN GENERAL, NOT this specific grand jury, who had presented cases in front of OTHER grand juries. Iow, these "sources" had NO inside knowledge of what was going on inside THIS grand jury or inside the special prosecutor's team. These "sources" were actually acting in the role of PUNDITS.
But in the last few years SHUSTER has stuck with it, has been good, after he screwed himself negotiating with rival outlets.
