It's hard to believe that a half a billion dollars would go randomly to just-some-winner.
Believing a lottery system is 100% honest, is not an easy thing for me to accept.
I hope I'm wrong.

but I don't doubt that it happens even to just anybody by winning a lottery.

I think the fact that so many lottery winner's lives have become train wrecks shows that it does happen.
