...I was just watching on a live feed. I couldn't believe there was a helicopter up there with that monster. They've got to be insane.

It still seems incredible that they do this. They are trying to give precise info.
My worry would be another tornado forming suddenly where I was located.

I'm sure flying in any storm weather would be difficult. Hail would add greatly to the danger.

However, when tornado weather is around, they can form very quickly. It wouldn't have to form around you. Forming near you could destabilize the flight.

and was going maybe 15 miles per hour. This was in a volvo with turbo charge. It felt like i'd never get out of that outside edge of
the storm.
