due to the storm surge. Locally, Hurricane Ike wiped the coastal town of Bolivar off the map. The "good" thing about hurricanes is you have far more time to prepare or leave the path.

For many years I assumed any pic of a tornado is what it looked like the entire time on the ground
but now we know better.
That was a monster, tho.
