due to bedrock and hard clay soil. In order to dig a basement, TNT is needed, and the process is very expensive. Some people have reinforced "safe" rooms in their houses, but I doubt much of anything could withstand winds of 200mph.

(The info provided was from a local reporter in OK per MSNBC.)

Not much.

But Blankets or sleeping bags, tents, water, First aid items (due to small injuries like cuts that happen during clean up), Cleaning products, and food stuff that needs no cooking will be in need in a big way.

When it comes to food, many things like Heater Meals or MRI's, is very helpful! Easy to get passed out and fix up.

And Pet supplies. The first aid items are needed for them too!

The HeaterMeals company is currently doing a donation drive. For every new 'like' on the HeaterMeals Self-Heating Meals page through June 30-they're donating one meal to the American Red Cross: http://on.fb.me/18Nb3T0
