We need to send disaster relief to Oklahoma and other areas devastated by tornadoes as soon as possible. But we need to remember that nearly 2/3 of Republican Senators voted against Hurricane Sandy relief funds. (8,976 posts)Of course my post states otherwise. I merely reminded people that rhetoric and votes could have consequences should Democrats decide to behave as Republicans already have. I would like those who think D's are free-spending low-life partisans that if we were behaving like their scumbags they wouldn't get a dime and that would now would be a good time to review their past actions.

(34,108 posts)Although I love to laugh at Schadenfreude, these people need help. If they refuse our help, that's one thing. But we have to offer help. It's the Human thing to do.

(11,919 posts)I understand where you're coming from, but in reality, being that way would only hurt innocent people. Some who may not be repubs at all and didn't vote that way. The people who voted the way they did could care less -- about us, about Sandy victims or about their own constituents.
