When we suffered Sandy, we watched it come for days. I can't imagine having all this happen in the blink of an eye.

Anticipating disaster, or being blind-sided quickly.

Regardless, we have had waaaay too much sadness in the last few months.

Especially the parents. I can't think of anything worse to deal with than losing your child like that.

I work in Bethel though which was hit Saturday night.
I am originally from Norman, home of the University of Oklahoma.
Since the roads in Bethel were impassable the schools gave me the day off which i spent preparing for tonight's storms.
My heart goes out to the parents and children of Plaza Towers Elementary.

Thousands are now homeless, please give whatever you can afford or donate blood.
Thank You.
