more devastation than any US President in recent history? When I mean devastation, I mean mass shootings, natural disasters, etc. I'm also not sure if I should lump Bush in there with 9/11 and Katrina.
It just seems like a lot has happened during his Presidency.

This summer...we will have at least one major mega fire as well...not me saying it, the fire people are.

(14,040 posts)Bush obviously had two huge disasters, plus the war but as far as individual events go, I think President Obama is the clear "winner" here.

(10,340 posts)He appointed an incompetent moron to head FEMA, and dragged his feet responding to the disaster. So yeah, he bears a lot of responsibility.
