Anytime someone refuses to fight, politically, against the opponent is doomed
to fail. All you have to do is read the news.

What happened to James Carville's mantra:

"When your (political) opponent is drowning, throw
the motherfucker an anvil".

Politics never has never been and never will be pretty.

Healthy children, or those who have developed through their abuses, do not do what those people do.

They look for targets on which to place their rage. They're working out their parent/child conflicts with the wrong targets.

It's why wars are started. It's why there is bad politics.

And I think we ought to stop denying it, and pay attention to how we raise our future generations if we care about the world we live in. I've brought this up before, and like other similar subjects the questions on how to implement it flow sarcastically.

We're dealing with broken children. Not grownups. Look at Issa. Adult body, damaged child inside.

and all the people I've met there have been really, really nice.

I can't help wondering just who is electing the shit politicians they keep sending to Congress, especially the Senate.

I still don't mind helping the people there, they are fine people.

I would just love to see those schmucks Coburn and Inhofe try to vote down aid to Moore, just so they'd finally catch a clue there and throw those bastards out on their lying, thieving arses.

The people I've met in that state deserve so much better. For now, I'll just contribute.

But I try to sell myself as a compassionate conservative.

I prefer to deal in facts, which are neither liberal nor conservative. http://journals.democraticunderground.com/hfojvt/169 although Republican politicians do tend to tell slightly more lies about taxes than Democrats do. Not that Democrats are perfect though http://journals.democraticunderground.com/hfojvt/154
