First of all, beware of scams and check out who the money is going for. Will it go to the survivors of today's tornado or into the general coffers to prepare for other disasters as well as help with this one? How much goes to the survivors? Today was awful and wanting to help is very understandable, but beware. Please feel free to add to this thread as you find other ways to help. Thank you.
First excerpt is from a local tv station who has has live streaming all day, updates, etc. It includes a list to Red Cross, Salvation Army, United Way. I imagine they will have something for pets soon also.

Tiny script "donations are collected for the benefit of the Regional Food by the Mobile Giving Foundation. www.hmgf.org/t"
That link give me this
I see nothing as to where the money goes, looks like they collect it and then non-profits apply for it.
