"I know my Constitution!" Please come CAPTION Tom Coburn (R. OK Senator)

Tom, of-one-mind-shattered-into-hundreds, Coburn is saying "It says right here in the United States Constitution that relief from tornadoes is distinctly different than relief after super-storms. The reasoning goes that tornadoes spring up here in the United States whereas super-storms, like hurricanes, always begin in international waters, therefore they are not the Federal Government's responsibility. . . . That's what Ben Franklin wrote down back in 1492!"

********************************************************************************

The real story is worse. He doesn't want federal relief if it is not off-set by cutting federal spending elsewhere. As someone note, he is holding OK citizens hostage to his ideology:

Cut one aircraft carrier will save over $13.5 billion. The USS Gerald Ford is being built at that cost and due to be done in 2016, so the costs will go up. Plus the annual cost of operation. But Coburn does not vote against anything military.

He is a terrible person, who claims to be a christian, but seems to have lost his way morally and ethically. He is also a wasted medical doctor who should be doing good works as a doctor instead of a wasted republican doing bad works for the people of the United States as a senator.

5. Last month the President said OK is lucky to have Coburn, his dear personal friend.

"The people of Oklahoma are lucky to have someone like Tom representing them in Washington — someone who speaks his mind, sticks to his principles and is committed to the people he was elected to serve."

Can't say I agree with Obama's Coburn tribute.

Guns, gays and abortions. I know some of those voters and nothing I can say will change their minds. Facts be damned, shaming doesn't work. They're just stupid as the day is long is all I can come up with.

I paraphrase.

What's your excuse, Senator Asshole?
