Anyone following the Sweden riots?

First time I read about it this week, I thought Sweden????".
Home of the happy peaceful people?

Here is the key part of the issue:

"We see a society that is becoming increasingly divided and where the gaps, both socially and economically, are becoming larger," said Rami Al-khamisi, co-founder of Megafonen, a group that works for social change in the suburbs. "And the people out here are being hit the hardest … We have institutional racism."

"The reason is very simple. Unemployment, the housing situation, disrespect from police," said Rouzbeh Djalaie, editor of Norra Sidan newspaper. "It just takes something to start a riot, and that was the shooting."

Djalaie said youths were often stopped by police in the streets for identity checks. During the riots, he said some police called local youths "apes".

and when times are good, people adapt. When times are tough, societies often look for people to expel.

It's that old lizard-brain thing again..

no, nothing that is going on in Sweden lately should surprise anyone. Hopefully the people will realize the mistake they made by putting in a right wing government and all that that means, and throw them and their friend Karl out in the next election.

is a long time friend of Rove. The revelation that Rove was in Sweden 'advising' Fredrik Reinfeldt was a surprise even to Sweden. I can understand why they would try to hide the fact that a War Criminal like Rove was now in Europe trying to get his buddies into power.

Apparently many believe he was also manipulating the attacks on Wikileaks. Not a stretch considering most of what Wikileaks revealed had to do with his old War Criminal bosses, Bush and Cheney.

If our war criminals like Rove had been busy defending themselves against charges of war crimes, they wouldn't still be spreading their evil policies around the world. But we don't prosecute war criminals in this country so ....

He mentioned the other day his car getting shot at and I was shocked. I thought Sweden was a pretty peaceful place. Also he is a lawyer as well. If I find out anything I'll post it.
