West Texas explosion cause still unexplained

Daniel Horowitz, the CSB's managing director, said his agency could not accept the terms of the agreement because it prohibited the CSB from releasing an independent report detailing the cause of the accident.

2. Point proved

A while back I made the point that media attention to an event determines public interest. The explosion in West as compared to the Boston bombing had more victims, caused greater damage, and was likely enabled by corporate negligence and malfeasance. Yet, this disaster received comparatively little national attention and a month later the cause is still undetermined.

Will justice be served? Does anyone still care? Apparently not.
