so it's memorial day again
In 1978 I worked in Daura irak for 11 month.during those 11 month I was able to see the sigurat in Ur,the moshee in kerbula,the desert castle in Al Ukkadir and Babylon with what is or was left of the hanging gardens and the foundation of the tower.right by the euphrates river.mindboggling.my good friend,Nasmir Us,who lives there,tells me that just about all of that does not exist anymore in any way I would would remember it.
