Child Shot in Ankle by Sister in Little Rock
LITTLE ROCK, AR - A 5-year-old boy is recovering after being shot in the ankle by his 6-year-old sister.
The child was taken to a Little Rock hospital shortly before 5:00 p.m.
Little Rock Police say the gun belonged to their aunt's boyfriend.
According to police spokesperson Sgt. Cassandra Davis, the man and his girlfriend had left the two children in a vehicle when one came across the gun that had been placed inside the console before the children were picked up from daycare.
The man has a concealed carry permit for the .32-caliber pistol, according to investigators....
