The two parties conspire to limit our choices to a) the far, far right, and b) the insanely far right.

The whole notion of "American exceptionalism" is complete crap. There are many countries that are MUCH more democratic than the USA.

Proportional representation and instant run-off ballots. Those are things you find in real democracies..
