He hates the sound of lawnmowers. When he's in the family room and hears a lawnmower he runs across the floor and goes under the couch.
He also doesn't like hats. If you wear a hat and pick him up, he freaks out.

Would get scared if the thought I was not home, and I rounded a corner and accidentally surprised them. They would jump back and hiss at me to which I would reply, "Hey... this is still technically MY house." Then they would settle down once they realized it was me.
Funny though.
