The website UFO Sightings Daily has posted photos of what it says could be a rat or lizard on Mars.
Maintained by blogger Scott C. Waring, UFO Sightings Daily says someone in Japan who was scrutinizing photos released by NASA discovered the strange creature's image in March.
Waring raises the question of whether the space agency could be placing animals onto the Mars surface from inside the rover to conduct tests. The blog post invites readers to offer their opinions of the photos.
Although the images posted on UFO Sightings Daily depict something that appears to have legs and a tail, in the original NASA photo, the rat/lizard looks more like a rock.
