Who Will Be the Patriot in the U.S. Senate to Call for Hearings into the War in Iraq?

Who among the Democrats in the U.S. Senate will finally do the patriotic thing and call for official hearings with full subpoena power into the great lie that cost one million civilian lives, killed thousands of American young men and women, destroyed the lives of families, left our veterans wounded for life, that orphaned children both here in the U.S. and in Iraq, that wore down the military that President Clinton had built up and that bankrupted our nation?

Who among the Democrats in the U.S. Senate will seek to find where the $1 Billion in cash that was "lost" during the first weeks of the catastrophic failure called the War in Iraq, or to investigate where the billions of non-competitive bid "contracts" actually wound up?

Why are Democrats too god-damned cowardly to do their job and rip this rotting scab off of the great lie behind the War in Iraq once and for all the American People see once and for all the truth that they deserve to see?

Do we not have one single American patriot within the Democrats in the U.S. Senate who will do his/her duty and finally call for official hearings that justice demands?

Bring it On!

talk about it.

Obama has ended that war and the war in Afghanistan is winding down. I don't think it's welcomed to call attention to "Old News" when Obama has done exactly what he said he would do and ended that war.

Those Iraqi's didn't recognize the GIFT for Chance for Democracy that we gave them. No matter how we tried they just couldn't get over their "Tribal Differences." So...we are done there...no one wants to talk about the PAST...and the Iraqi's had their chance and they BLEW IT. What else can be said. They BLEW their Chance at the Democracy that we in the West have profited from. They just couldn't handle it...no matter how many chances we gave them. It's sad...but, we did the best we could. They just couldn't get their act together to see their moment in time to fruition. So...let them live with the consequences of their lack of appreciation.

Wait and see. He will become the President who Saved Us from Ourselves! He rebuilt the Party in his Own Image and we will see the fruits of his efforts in the Decades to Come!

Just Wait...You will see this come to fruition. We can't be naysayers. We are not enlightened enough now to see his game...because we are bogged down in issues of the past which need to be moved beyond. There are people there surrounding Obama who have seen this and they are guiding him forward to the best part of the "New American Century."

I opposed this war the minute I first heard it publicly suggested. I did not believe Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction.

The concept of launching a preemptive war against a country that had not attacked us stands acceptable as of today because no one has done as you suggested. I think it is important not to let this stand as a principle this Country condones.
