And there is the internet for some of the other things. Maybe posting what you're looking for will bring some creative suggestions. Your community should rally and take their power back.

movement freedom rides, which will converge in Bentonville this weekend prior to the shareholder gathering. That “Ride for Respect” will bring workers to about thirty cities, including Los Angeles, DC, Chicago and Cincinnati, where they’ll meet supporters and visit Walmart stores before continuing to Arkansas. Schlademan called the caravans “a massive education program meant to educate Walmart workers and communities about the issues of Walmart.”

I am supporting them, because I don't shop there. Not only do I support them, but I think that every person who is employed by any corporation in the USA should be represented and defended by a Union. Corps' hunger for cheap labor has gone entirely too far. If Corps are getting richer, the employees need to be prospering too. Common sense, folks. Common sense.

I met someone there for a sale on craigslist.Since I had never been in one I popped in to take a look.I lasted about 3 minutes, that store stinks like stale sweat and stinky feet...ack,gack,hork!

I noticed the floors were dirty and there was misplaced stock all over the shelves and isle floors. The store was generally a victim of very poor housekeeping. There is no excuse for that kind of crap in a retail space.
I have never bought anything at WallyWorld and I never will. They suck.

Now if you want to talk about Costco I am ready to go.

I have not stepped foot inside a Walmart in 10 years..and only went then because my best friend had a gift certificate that was burning a hole in her pocket.

My husband's company gave out $100 gift certificates to all employees at Xmas time & I re-gifted it to our son in Texas..they were expecting our grand-daughter (born 12/31) and needed stuff & Walmart was their closest store.
