LOL!- Schlafly ADVICES Republicans: IGNORE HISPANICS And ‘Reach Out To… WHITE Voters’

You go girl and keep being the hate-face of the Republican Party!!

Conservative activist Phyllis Schlafly says Republicans are making a mistake by trying to court Hispanics with comprehensive immigration reform legislation. “I think that’s a great myth because the Hispanics who come in like this are going to vote Democrat,” Schlafly told the Focus Today radio program in a clip obtained by Right Wing Watch on Wednesday. “And there is not the slightest bit of evidence they are going to vote Republican.” “And the people the Republicans should reach out to are the white votes — the white voters who didn’t vote in the last election, and there are millions of them,” she advised.

Schlafly added that the Republican establishment had given the party a “series of losers” with the nominations of former Sen. Bob Dole, Sen. John McCain and former Gov. Mitt Romney.“The propagandists are leading us down the wrong path,” the activist remarked. “There’s not any evidence at all that these Hispanics coming in from Mexico will vote Republican.” Last month, Schlafly told Republicans that they would be committing “suicide” if they enacted immigration reform.

in that it won't matter how much the gop tries to appeal to the hispanic vote, they are wasting their time, they will never have the majority hispanic vote.

Many would lean right if the Republicans were not so virulent in their racist and anti-immigrant attacks on them. (The same is true for Muslims--also socially conservative. If the Republicans did not attack them so viciously all the time, Muslims might well be a natural conservative constituency.)

Hispanics have voted for Republicans in the past. LittleBush got a much higher percentage of the Hispanic vote than Romney did, and McCain used to get a lot of their votes, before he started sucking up so hard to the Tea Party.

Of course, after the last few years, Hispanics are going to be very suspicious of Republicans. The Republican attacks on Hispanics in California cost them the Hispanic vote in a state that is well on its way to becoming majority Hispanic. That will harm them for a very long time in California. The national Republican Party is doing the same thing, and the people like Schafley seem not to understand that the Hispanic population in the US is growing faster than any other demographic. They really blew it there. (Not that I am sorry about their stupidity in alienating such a large group of voters!)

Nah! What am I saying? You can't fix stupid, and the GOP is one big, stupid pachyderm.

Go, Phyllis! You rock, girl! Make the GOP the Whites Only Party of anti-intellectual morans. Oh, wait. They already are. And they're going to try to "Benghazi" Hillary so Corpulent Christi (he's a little town in Texas, isn't he) has a chance of winning in 2016. As if anyone -- 'ceptin' maybe some a' them white folk Phyllis wants metaphorically to get in bed with -- will care about the GOP's Benghazi conspiracy theories in 2016.

Now let's get ready to kick ass in 2014 so that 2016 will just be the icing and sprinkles atop the cake.

Not quoting it verbatim, but it basically said to ignore non-whites because what with civil rights, and neighborhoods desegregating more, the votes to go after were scared and pissed-off whites. Schlafly is clinging to that in hopes that old white men will somehow make a comeback population-wise.

I think the GOP is unlikely to be able to make much progress with Hispanic voters, and that its best chance of winning elections will be to try to find ways of energising its core vote (which it failed to do in 2012) without energising the Democrats or alienating moderates too much (which it failed to do in 2008). I'm not sure supporting immigration rights will help it do that, and it will add a tranche of predominantly democratic voters to the rolls.

But my lack of qualifications here should probably be stressed.

Especially since most of the white people who vote that way are older and do so cause they still believe they're voting for the party of Eisenhower and the few younger whites that vote that way are out voted by the young whites that vote democratic

this strategy, while it gives us a chuckle, is pretty much what happened in 2010.

This-2014-is an off-year, non-presidential election. The Repubs might hunker down and 'appeal to the white vote' as this "lady" says, and it might work, if Dems take another election off.

Laugh away, but GOTV while you're laughing.

45. Phyllis Schlafly is still out there - ranting against UN treaties and globalists.
Wed May 29, 2013, 06:26 PM
May 2013

The globalists have been plotting to use the volatility of this lame-duck session to achieve some of their internationalist goals that they couldn't get passed during the last four years. In particular, they would like to lock us into treaties that slice out various parts of our national sovereignty, a concept that they have been trying to promote as obsolete. ... The globalists could make a surprise treaty push for ratification of the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty (UNATT). This treaty is coming under the radar since gun control advocates know it could never pass the U.S. Senate after debate in broad daylight.

Another plan to ratify an anti-sovereignty treaty and subject us to unwelcome global regulations is the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). This mischievous document was signed for the U.S. by U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice (now famous for giving big TV time to Obama's lies about the Benghazi disaster).

The globalists desperately want us to ratify the Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST), which was a bad idea when Ronald Reagan rejected it in 1981, and which has soured rather than ripened in its years of languishing in the Senate. This treaty cedes sovereign control over practically all the riches at the bottom of the world's oceans to an International Seabed Authority.

After ratification, treaties become part of the "supreme law" of the United States on a par with federal statutes, which gives supremacist judges the power to invent their own interpretations. The whole concept of putting the United States in the noose of global organizations, in which the U.S. has only the same one vote as Cuba, is offensive to Americans, and all these UN treaties should be scrapped forthwith.

Schlafly must have read: "Six most paranoid fears for Obama’s second term"

With the election only days away, the radical right is bracing for what it believes could be an Obamapocalpyse

One Thousand Years of Darkness - “socialism or something much worse”

An Obama Dictatorship - unleash a“dictatorial full monty”; instant citizenship for all Third World immigrants; forced equalization of income; the end of fossil fuel production
Obama Will Take Away Our Gun Rights - Obama’s first term was nothing but a “conspiracy to ensure re-election by lulling gun owners to sleep.”
U.S. Will Be Enslaved by Globalists - make the U.S. a “vassal state to a globalist entity.”
U.N. Troops and Civil War - “Obama’s going to send in U.N. troops”
Hunted Down Like Dogs - “If re-elected, it’s gonna be war”; “We will be hunted down like dogs.”
